Appetite for hard work drives big win for Coast

GREAT food, loyal customers and the power of social media have combined to help Coast in Hervey Bay win a major state-wide dining award.

Coast has won the Diners Choice Award and the Queensland Good Guide awards in Brisbane, and restaurant manager Julia Paussa it was great for a regional restaurant up against the best the state had to offer.

"It's a really nice feeling to know so many people got behind us," she said. Julia said she really pushed the vote for the award on Facebook, and Coast's loyal diners did the rest.

Coast also retained its one-hat rating in the Good Food Guide, making it the only hat-rated restaurant from Noosa to Townsville, she said. Keeping this rating was all about maintaining the consistency of food and service throughout the year, she said.
