POLICE and residents are baffled following a car accident on Nicholson St.

A bronze Commodore smashed into the rear of a silver Toyota Hilux parked on the street midday Sunday.

The sole occupant of the Commodore suffered minor head injuries and minor bruising to their arms.

There were no occupants of the Hilux at the time.

Snr Const Peter Horn said police are still investigating the cause of the incident.

"When we are looking at a driver who ran into the back of a parked car, we are very interested to find out what happened," he said.
