COSMETIC Elegance Clinic owner Dr Eddie Roos said the recent birthday celebration was a fantastic chance for staff and clients to come together.

"We just wanted to say thanks and celebrate,” Dr Roos said.

Dr Roos said about 130 people attended the celebrations at Rumours International, where they enjoyed canapes, champagne, wine and beer.

"We've had many an email thanking us for the celebrations and it was wonderful to see everyone have such a wonderful time,” he said.

The clinic, which is in the Medici Medical Centre, was opened 10 years ago by Dr Roos.

It combines cosmetic medicine with skin cancer medicine.

While Dr Roos said there were many different treatments since he opened the clinic, what stood out to him the most in that 10 years was the change in people's attitudes towards cosmetic treatments.

"People are more open about it now,” he said.

"It's more common. I often say we treat self-esteem. People come in feeling a bit down about themselves, so we do a bit of work and they leave feeling better.”
