MARANOA's menacing Mayor Robert Loughnan was locked away in Roma this morning.

Earlier today, along with a line up of other locals including the Western Star's very own Derek Barry, Mayor Loughnan was sent to jail where he had to raise 'bail' money to be released.

All money from the event will go to PCYC's Time4Kids program.

See Tuesday's Star for more information about how the Mayor and his fellow prisoners survived.
