FIRST he was ejected from his party, now Member for Redcliffe Scott Driscoll has copped a pay cut.

Mr Driscoll was suspended from the LNP amidst allegations he had misused his role in Parliament, including claims a government-funded organisation pumped thousands of dollars into a company owned by his wife.

He remains on the cross benches while investigations continue.

During Parliament's sitting on Tuesday, Leader of Government Business Ray Stevens announced Mr Driscoll would be dumped from the Health and Community Services Committee, forfeiting the $8217 that came with it.

The cut would knock him back to the standard Parliamentarian's salary of $137,149.

He will be replaced by former Arts Minister Ros Bates who resigned from that post over allegations she had not properly handled her lobbyist register.

Mr Driscoll is not expected in Parliament this week due to his wife being ill.
