Roma firies in full force at training each week

ROMA is full of alarm bells each Monday night as the auxiliary firefighting team head out in force to practice their procedures.

Last night was just another day in the life of the Roma firies, as they made their way out to a simulated fire scene and worked their way through the training drills.

From experienced firefighters to brand new recruits, the team is full of enthusiastic volunteers ready to do their bit to help out the community.

Working on a voluntary on-call basis, the auxiliary crew are everyday heroes dedicating their own time to assisting the town.
