Roma man dies in car crash near Mitchell

A 37-year old Roma man has died following a single vehicle crash just South of Mitchell on Friday.

Jason Mark Lewis was killed when his ute rolled over on Foyleview Road sometime Friday afternoon.

A passer-by discovered the vehicle with Mr Lewis in it around 9pm Friday night and reported it to Police.

Mitchell Police, Queensland Ambulance Service and Queensland Fire and Rescue all attended the site however Mr Lewis was already deceased.

Mitchell Police have confirmed no suspicion in the accident and are continuing to investigate the cause.

Mr Lewis was well known among the Roma community and locals have said he was a great man who will be sadly missed.
