CHINCHILLA Bulldogs and their green and white army descended on Bulldog Park on Saturday for the round one fixture of the 2014 rugby league season.

After a long summer without the smell of Dog House sausages and deep heat, die-hard footy fans were in early to reserve a spot for their camp chairs on the lawn.

With six local and state representative games on the cards, Chinchilla locals were joined by their Roma Cities adversaries as well as a rowdy bunch from Toowoomba and Central Queensland.

Scores:

U16s lost 14-40 Cities

U18s lost 12-44 Cities

Res grade won 34-16 Cities

A-grade lost 30-36 Cities

This week, the Bulldogs travel to St George hungry for win.
