THE Dalby Show is bursting at the seams with entertainment for the whole family on Friday and Saturday.

Creatures big and small will be the star attractions on the show's opening day with the pet parade kicking off at 10am.

An assortment of eye-catching attire is bound to be on display during the multiple fashion parades.

You can catch the Dalby fashion showcase Friday at 11am and 2pm and Saturday at 11am.

A fleet of vehicles will rev their engines in the grand parade at 4.45pm, including cars, tractors and other vintage machinery.

Dalby Show Society president Frank Chiverton said a few surprises may saunter through the festivities.

"We might be able to get some livestock for the parade," he said.

Live music will fill the main arena from 7pm-midnight both nights.

Although performers have yet to be decided, Mr Chiverton said the schedule will differ on Friday and Saturday.

Those in need of an adrenaline boost are in luck, with the smash up derby sure to get the blood pumping on Saturday night.

Fireworks will also light up the Dalby sky on both nights of the show at 8pm.

Mr Chiverton said the entertainment on display presents good value for money.

"It's 10 bucks for the sideshow alley, all the music and the parades," he said.

"The more people that support the show, the bigger we can make the event."

Don't miss the Dalby Show at the showgrounds from April 19-21.
