THIS Thursday will mark the 98th anniversary of Anzac Day and remembrance services will be held across many South west Queensland communities.

Charleville will hold a dawn service at the Town Hall starting at 5:15am.

People wanting to take part in the march are asked to meet at 9.20am in Alfred Street for a 9.40am start.

That will be followed by a service at Cenotaph at 10am.

Quilpie will have a twilight service tomorrow night on Anzac Eve at 6.30pm at the cemetery.

The Quilpie dawn service is at RSL Memorial park at 6am.

The march will follow and people are asked to assemble at the Cafe at 9.45am for 10am start.

Following the march, there will be a service at 10.15am at the Quilpie Shire hall.

At Tambo, services will be at 6am and 9am at the Memorial Park

At Cunnamulla will start at 10.30am at the corner of Stockyard St and Louise St for the march.

After the march, the memorial service will take place at the Cenotaph 10.45-11am.
