Three car crash outside popular Ipswich shopping centre

UPDATE 3PM: A WOMAN has been taken to hospital following a crash outside a busy shopping centre.

Three cars collided at the roundabout outside Orion Shopping Centre just before 10am.

A woman was treated at the scene after complaining of neck pain, before being taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.

There were no other injuries.

EARLIER: A THREE car crash is holding up traffic after a crash at Springfield Central.

One patient is being assessed for spinal injuries after the incident at Orion, Springfield.

"It may just be a precaution at this stage," a Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said.

"It looks like so far we have one patient with spinal injuries. They don't look like they're very serious."
