Va Tuilovoni takes on Australia's Got Talent

VA TUILOVONI is a soft spoken Rockhampton teenager, until she starts singing.

The teen's powerful voice saw her take out the title of overall winner in the Rock UR Talent competition.

The 15-year-old was excited and nervous to sing in the competition, but will have to tackle her nerves as she takes on Australia with her voice.

Va will be auditioning for Australia's Got Talent, after winning a trip to audition in Brisbane through Rock UR Talent.

But singing comes easy to the Emmaus College student, who has been singing her heart out since she was seven.

Va has always grabbed the opportunity to sing, whether it be at her church or school.

The teen, who likes listening to reggae and pop music, said singing makes her happy, and she couldn't be more excited for a chance to pursue her dream.

"I'm really nervous about Australia's Got Talent," she said.

The teen will jet off to Brisbane on Friday to try and get a spot on the popular TV show.

She is planning to sing the song 'Valerie', which was famously covered by singer Amy Winehouse.

'Valerie' was the song that saw Va take out the Rock UR Talent competition.
